I've got the same problem except im trying to install Crysis 3, will this work using the same method that sundance31us used?
Dunno... But you'd have a better chance of getting an answer if you posted this question in the Crysis 3 forums.

@mimi_mzk; No idea. You'll probably get better help by posting your query in the appropriate SIMS forum, rather than the ME3 one.

Download WinRAR (I used: free) or something like it. Click on CD setup for Mass Effect 1,2,3, w/e. It will make you open an Origin account, and then show you your games once you have entered the code. It will give you an option to download the ~30gigs.
If you do not have a great internet connection and want to use the CD/DVD, do what people have posted before: start to download with Origin, then exit after it has prepped the folders in the Origin Games folder. Delete the contents of the Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, or Mass Effect 3 folder within the Origin Games folder, depending on which one you are installing at the time. Pop in disk 1 for the game you are trying to install, save the ME_RTP.z01 to the Origin Games folder, when it is completely done put in your second disk (if you have more than one, as I did), take the ME_RTP file from that disk and copy to the same location as the first file from disk 1. When that is complete select both files and right click to pull up windows menu on your unzipping program of choice, extract the TWO selected files to the proper folder in Origin Games (so Mass Effect 1 stuff goes into Mass Effect folder, ME2 stuff to Mass Effect 2 folder etc).
Make sure in WinRAR you have "Keep broken files" selected: you want to basically put as much onto your computer from the CD as you can, not have a perfect copy waiting for you, so skip what errors you can, and install what you can. Open Origin back up, resume download, download updates. Repeat for other 2 games, play. This is really what the other people were saying... I just did not realize that you had to unzip BOTH files from each disk for a given game at once to extract, and I spent 4 hours trying to figure out what was wrong. Hope this is helpful. (Windows 8.1).

@Sundance31us
Specifically, not "stop" the download, but actually right-click and "Cancel Download"
But yeah, lifesaver. Same thing with DA:I
