@HunterKillerGaelJust installing Reshade does literally nothing lol it just adds another injector on top of the Origin Overlay and Steam overlay making things worse. No idea why people recommend that it makes literally no sense to be honest.
We know its an injector, but did you actually test it? I can't as I've refunded, but I'd be interested to know if it works.

Wanted to post an update. I decided to refund my Steam copy of Mass Effect 3, because I didn't want to deal with two overlapping clients causing absolute hell on the game. Today, I purchased the Origin Copy, since players have said it's easier to manage the client by going through Origin.
I just finished downloading the game, so I start the process of opening it- and wouldn't you know it, the game now refuses to separate itself from Steam. I signed out of Steam and turned everything off- nope. My Origin Game library shows my new copy of Mass Effect 3 strictly fuses itself with Steam and will not launch without it.
So even by refunding my copy on Steam, and buying the game on Origin, trying to bypass this hassle entirely, I've been thrown full speed back into this even by trying to remove Steam from this equation. My Origin Copy will involve Steam whether I want it to or not.
Do the players or EA have a fix for this?
