Been playing ME3 on the PC to get myself back in the swing of things for Andromeda. I played it originally on XBOX360, but I've since switched up to PS4, which doesn't have the trilogy available for it.
I downloaded the games fine, and the content DLC fine...but the free multiplayer DLC gets 404 errors every time I try to download them, which is disconcerting. If I try to download a DLC twice in a row, I should add, then Origin crashes.
Is there something I can do, or another site I can go to, to download these? It's very hard to find matches when I don't have the relevant DLC...
Thanks in advance.

Are you still experiencing this error?

Hmm. Interesting.
Now it just crashes immediately when I try to download DLC. So...no, the situation seems to have changed marginally...though not for the better.

Please clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.)
- close Origin completely. (right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder. (The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%AppData%" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder
- Delate the "Origin" folder inside the "Roaming" folder
- In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on the word "AppData".
- Open the "Local" folder
- Delate the "Origin" folder inside the "Local" folder
- Restart your PC. > test

A step forward!
We're back to the 404 error.
It doesn't seem to crash anymore, however, on consecutive repeated attempts to download DLC. The 404 error does persist though.

Try to restart your router.
If that not helps, shut down your Windows firewall and disable the real-time scanner of your antivirus software. (just for testing purpose, don't forget to activate the firewall and the antivirus software later on.)
Should it work after you disabled the firewall, here is a description how to allow a program to communicate through the firewall.
This are the ports who must be open at your router for Origin to communicate:
TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900
If that not helps here is a EA connection troubleshooting guide. (the trace rout could be of interest.)

Router restart: No effect
Firewall disable: Still 404ing.
Antivirus disable: Still 404
I appreciate your willingness to walk me through these solutions, but I have to wonder if the problem isn't on EA's side. Then again, I suppose the forums would be having a lot more posts like mine if that were the case.
That in mind, where do we go from here?
Addendum - To experiment a bit, I just arranged to download the digital art books from Origin, just to see if there was some kind of connection issue. But that download is proceeding normally. As did, I should point out, the downloads of the game itself, and the pay-DLC for single player content.
Very strange.

Apologies for the double post, but I thought it was worth bumping the topic to report that the problem appears to have been solved for the moment.
I went into the Origin website and attempted to download the DLC through that.
Even though the website links back to the Origin client...the same one that malfunctions when I used it before...the downloads worked this time.
At this point, I'll take it with no further questions asked.
Thanks for your help!

That it works is the most important thing.
If this error is persisting I would recommand a clean installation of Origin. It seems that a few files got corrupted.
