Duplicate Mass Effect 3 game in Origin after buying the Trilogy pack

So I have recently bought the Mass Effect trilogy bundle and now Mass Effect 3 is duplicated in my inventory. The pictures look the same, no idea if it is indeed the same game or main game and a DLC.

It would be nice if someone could explain what actually happened here.

Also as far as I know in Origin you cannot gift games like in Steam, but if I truly own the game 2 times and this is not a visual bug, can I refund one of them?

Will this affect the copy of the game I will keep?

Hello there! Old thread, but in case somebody gets here in 2019:

For those who still wonder, if you click on Download on both, you will see one of them contains some extra content: Extended version & Mass Effect Trilogy design (I'm translating this from Spanish so might be a bit different).

So I hid the one without the additional content by "right click > hide".

Hope it still helps someone! : )

Have you already owned ME3 as a single game?

Nope. Had Mass Effect 2 before buying the pack though as it was free on Origin a while back.

Then it is most probably a glitch in Origin, although you can gift Games in Origin as well. 

Look at your order history (Origin menu top left corner > Origin > Order History)

If the history shows only your normal Mass Effect trilogy purchase I would suggest to simply hide the second cover. (right click on the cover > Hide.)

Hello.

In my case both copies got these DLCs. The difference is additional native language.

I hope this info will be helpful for other players.
