So I purchased the points in origin and when I went to the in game store it showed my point balance but gave me no option to actually spend them. i used to play on 360 back in the day but a friend convinced me to get back in to mp here on pc and i was hoping to get some decent gear to play with him so i just forked over the money for some points. well ive spent the last 2 days trying to find answers or get ahold of customer support and getting nothing but infinite please wait screens. at this point I have no hope that i will actually get the stupid crates or the chance to speak with someone and get a refund.

In this case you should contact EA directly. If you are not from the US change the country in the top right corner.

Yes, it seems to have disappeared as an option, some time in the last week. Don't know if a glitch or deliberate.
... you could talk your "rich uncle" into giving you some credits equivalent to the points you lost (that's all I can say).
