Can't jump into the water at the end of Leviathen DLC

So I'm in the mech and I'm all the way at the edge of the ship where I should then jump off but instead I just hit the edge and nothing happens like there's an invisible wall, I'm just walking in place right in front of the water, did I forget about something or is my save broken?
