Every piece of DLC downloads without any problems. It's just "From Ashes" that doesn't work.
It has a different download button to everything else. The others say "Download", From Ashes says "Download Now".
Clicking the "Download Now" button does nothing. It enters its active state (i.e. it moves down slightly), but that's it.
EDIT 1: Uninstalled everything, reinstalled the base game. It now says that I have to activate the DLC using the product code. I don't have one. I bought it digitally on Origin
EDIT 2: Did a bit of investigating. I purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition upgrade on 2015-07-14 (this includes From Ashes DLC). Looking at my achievements, I've previously activated, installed and played From Ashes. The activation screen says that From Ashes is an "Unidentified Game".
EDIT 3: Downloaded the Collector's Edition Materials (obtained through EA Access) and the "Download" button switched back to "Download Now," same behaviour as described initially: click it, nothing happens.

Close Origin.
Look if there is a "DLC_HEN_PR" folder inside your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\DLC" folder. If yes move it from the folder and try again.
Do you have "The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3" installed"?

Thanks for the reply.
There is no DLC_HEN_PR folder in BIOGame\DLC
I don't have "The Final Hours Of Mass Effect 3" installed.

In Origin menu left top corner > Application settings > installs and Saves > On your computer > check that "Game library location" matches the installation folder of your games. (>drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games)
If it does clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.)
- close Origin completely. (right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder. (The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%AppData%" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder
- Delate the "Origin" folder inside the "Roaming" folder
- In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on the word "AppData".
- Open the "Local" folder
- Delate the "Origin" folder inside the "Local" folder
- Restart your PC. > test

Hi,
I deleted ProgramData and Local/Roaming AppData as instructed
Clicking the Download button on From Ashes now spawns a popup window, saying "To play Unidentified Game, you must first activate it on your EA account."

Origin is online?
Did you starter the main game once and logged on to the ME3 servers?

Yes to both

Please search your entire PC for a "DLC_HEN_PR" folder.
Furthermore, you should contact EA directly. (If you are not from the US change the country in the top right corner.) so that the support can verify your account and your content.
Please report back after that.

There is no "DLC_HEN_PR" folder anywhere on my pc.
I tried contacting EA directly via the chat. It said there was a five minute wait to be connected, I waited 25 minutes and still wasn't connected.
I also found some old posts on the Bioware forums from way back in 2012 with users reporting the same problem and no resolution.

Thanks for all your help (sincerely).

You are welcome, but I had to edit the "solution".
Sorry about that.
