Can not connect to EA servers

im trying to play multiplayer but the game says that it cannot connect to EA servers. i tried troubleshooting it my self but i cant figure it out. i have tried restarting my pc, changing my password on my ea account and disabling my antivirus. none of that has worked so far. if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
