We are aware that following an update on June 3, a small number of users have been unable to activate or play some newly purchased games.

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience and delay in getting to play your game. We have identified the root cause of the problem, and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

We will update this post as soon as we have additional information to share.

Yesterday we were told both "within 24 hours"  and "2 to 3 more days" it just depended on who you talked to.

Today we were told it was fixed (early this morning).

Now? We've been told there is NO eta.

Take your pick...

Well yes, there are lots of fixes being made for lots of things. I would say its the activation error. Correct?

Some people here aren't able to understand that or that fixing issues isn't as easy as they seem to think...

But yes, that's the issue the OP is referring to. Confusedmileyhappy:

Y'know, if you'd at least answer the OP's question directly, it'd make things feel a bit better. Even a "Maybe OP, we're not sure yet." would cut it. Anything that makes it look like we're actually talking to humans. Confusedmileysad:

Who said that it would be "easy"? Please point me to that post.

I'd like to think that after 4 years of the game being out they could handle selling and distributing the game correctly.

Yes. 4 years.
