Unable to connect to servers so I cant acces my bought DLC

I just bought ME2 Genesis to my ME2 however when I get in game I cant authenticate it since im unable to log in to the "cerberus network". It just gives me the error message: Communication with Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or has timed out. So I just payed for this DLC and now it seems I cant use it. Any advice?

Also, help us out by contacting EA Support. We need as many people as possible to let them know that this is an issue on their end that needs to be resolved.
