Hello EA... I was wondering if there is any way to get my ps4 controller to be supported on origin. I have steam and have attempted the usual starting a non steam game with it... but the method does not work with Mass Effect. I saw you said something about a third party software that would fix this issue... but I do not know of any. Would you be able to point me in the right direction? I am not well adapted to playing games on keyboard. Thank you.

This is not a Origin problem, the games simply don't support controllers.
The Mode for Mass Effect 1 that adds support can be found here.
There are similar mods for ME2 and ME3.

Not that I am aware of, sorry.
The description is good and the installation is relatively easy. You only need to copy the content of two folders into the destined location.
The content of the downloaded folder "Config" needs to go to your "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config" folder > Override.
The content of the downloaded folder "Mass Effect" needs to go to your ">Drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect" folder > Override.
That's it.
