Mass Effect 2 no longer starting

I didn't change any settings, I didn't install any new hardware or software, but since yesterday I can't start ME2. Neither through the Origin client nor the Desktop shortcut.

I even deleted and reinstalled the whole game and all the DLCs.

When I try to start, the Mass Effect process shows up for a few seconds in Windows Task Manager before it terminates without any error message.

Any suggestions?
