Mass Effect 2 Won't Launch: Missing DLL: d3d9.dll

As the title says I am unable to get ME2 to launch. Here is a screenshot of the exact error message

It's a DirectX error.

First, if you not have done so already, restart your computer.

If that not helps press the Windows key and "R" at the same time, copy or type "dxdiag" (without the quotes) > enter.

This is running the DirectX diagnostic tool.

If that not helps post Operation system and your game details.
