Hi!
I reinstalled ME2 Digital Deluxe to my new computer and now I get this error from Origin whenever I try to start the game.
I have done the following:
- Check for updates
- Fix the installation
- Reinstallation of the game and the Origin client
Also tried to recreate the license file as told in here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/mass-effect-2-Invalid-license-Reason-code-invalid-cipher-0x0006/td-p...
What should I try next?
Thanks,

Please try to run Origin as Administrator and then repair the ME2 Game files. (in Origin > my games > right click ME2 > Repair Game)

@spI4t Hey, can you try restarting your system with a Clean Boot, then try the steps Holger mentions again?

Be sure to keep an eye open for any notifications, ensure that Origin is allowed to make any changes needed.
Thanks.

Hi @EA_David,
Thanks but this didn't help either. I also disabled Windows Firewall for a second but that didn't help.
Could something actually be wrong in the license or my Origin account?

It's unlikely, usually this is due to a local tech-related issue that prevents the correct info from being written locally. Normally the repair steps will overwrite the local license, I'm not sure why it's not working now.
Can you try temporarily disabling your anti-virus, then close Origin and clear the .dlf file again? Start Origin back up and try the repair once more.

Alright then.
Did that just now and it didn't help.

No help either.
I also manually uninstalled this program from my computer and installed it again from that folder. Did a repair also.

Please make sure that the automatic update funktion in Origin is enabled. In Origin > Origin (in the menu bar) > Application Settings > Automagically keep my games up to date.
