ME2 will not start

I bought the ME trilogy hard copy. Finished 1 tried importing my char and the game doesn't start. I've tried every solution I could find on here and nothing works. I'm very mad. Please help before I thow my Alienware off the top of my building. kthnxbye

Had the same problem. 3 plus hours with chat support, review of countless online forums and nothing. I could tell from the way the game was failing to load that it was a graphics problem. Go to the following location C:/programfiles(x86)/origingames/masseffect2/binaries and launch the masseffect2congig.exe. Go to the video settings and change Windowed to "Windowed" or "fullscreen" and Window Mode to either "normal" or "borderless". Then select Mass Effect 2 in the tool bar and select "Save Setting". After hours of screwing around with this thing this worked. If I change it back the game will not load.
