- Renamed files in thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mass-Effect-2/Mass-Effect-Trilogy-ME2-doesn-t-start-with-Origin-after-inst...
Honestly... nothing has worked, I'm at wits end, support has been less than helpful and very excited to get me to reboot as soon as possible which coincidently closes the chat down. So tried calling, got the same scripted response. Finally prodded enough to get "escalated to Specialist Support" instead of Advocate. That was 4 days ago, 24hrs after I was supposed to be contacted by email from the specialist.
If anyone has any other tips/tricks/ideas that I haven't tried I'm game to give it a go. I'm seeing this SAME problem with same error from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2. Sadly I no longer have my original disks so I'm stuck with Origin or bust to play this game again.

So may have found something in the UK forums on this:
https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/mass-effect/mass-effect-2/problems-launching-mass-effect-2/
Apparently I do NOT have EACore.dll and EACoreServer.exe in the \binaries\ folder for Mass Effect 2. Unfortunately, I have no idea where to get them, and searches are failing badly lol.

Gave that a whirl, no go. Tried updating my case with EA Help.... was told to uninstall the windows and reinstall to fix the problem
It's a new system heh.

Please create a full DxDiag in text file format, also go to your Reliability monitor (Press the windows key and "R" at the same time and copy or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in > ENTER and look if it has ME2 entries.
If yes double click at the last one, copy it to the clipboard, (Bottom left corner) save it to a text file and load it up together with the DxDiag.
You can do that with the "choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
Additional,
any mods installed?
The game was never before installed on that system?
Did you tried to run Origin as Administrator? (if not test it and preform another game repair if the game doesn't launch.)
