I know this has been asked before, but I recently booted up Mass Effect 2 on my PS3 for the first time and was confronted with an error for the Cerberus Network Access code. I really really want to do the interactive comic before beginning the game, as it seems pointless to pick up the story halfway through with no idea what's happened or what decisions I could have made.
This afternoon I was on live chat to an EA support worker, however, I don't think she properly understood my problem, asking me to sign up for Pogo.com. I can't see how that would help at all And to uninstall and reinstall the game (even though I clearly stated I was on PS3, not PC)
Searching on PSN for "Cerberus", the pack appears but is not available for download. This is so frustrating!
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Although it sounds weird and counterintuitive, signing up for Pogo can actually help in some cases. This is due to some backend account stuff.
However, in your case it looks like the issue is your Cerberus network code giving an error. If it gives an Invalid code error or something similar, you can go to the PSN network store and choose to buy a new one. Don't worry, it will be free. The Playstation Store link for the pack is this: http://us.playstation.com/games/add-ons/mass-effect-2-cerberus-pack-ps3.html
I hope this helps, and please post again if you're still having issues.

Thanks for your reply.
Searching for the Cerberus pack on PSN on my console finds the Cerberus Pack download. However, it is not possible to download the pack as it states "you do not own this game" (even though I do and have played about the first hour and a half).
Following your web link displayed the message "you are not eligible to download this item". I'm not sure whether that is because the web link you sent was for the US site, and I'm based in the UK.
Anymore help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the update, and I'm sorry to hear that this is ongoing for you. Sorry for giving the wrong link. Do you get a similar error message if you go through the in-game menus? Try Mass effect 2>extras>downloadable content.
Sorry for linking the US page before, the UK one is: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-gb/games/addons/mass-effect-2-cerberus-pack/cid=EP0...
Do you get similar results there?

Neither work for me either.
Please see this screenshot of the webstore error http://i.imgur.com/BmoB51Q.png
This must be a glitch as Mass Effect 2 has been run on my PS3 quite a few times.

Go here https://help.ea.com/contact-us and talk to a live game advisor who will provide you with a Cerberus Pack download code. I had the same problem and they provided me with one, activating it properly. Hope this helps.

In the UK the Cerberus Pack is not available to download, I really don't know what to do.
But if I bought Mass Effect 2 on the PSN store would it have Cerberus access and all the DLC.

Hopefully this issue is fixed soon. The Cerberus Pack is available for free on all platforms and Xbox 360 and PC users can download it straight away without any issues. This wasn't always a problem on PS3 either.
