mass effect cant load save [ Edited ]

Hello all. My problem is this: my save files are on my computer in a separate file, but the game will not let me choose them to play. No error, just a message that reads: “the save currently selected cannot be accessed. Please select a different save.” But there is no other save to select, and in careers there’s only “John Shepard” (and I’m playing female Shepard named something else). I’m at a loss for what to do. Please help. I’m playing through Steam and a razier client

How is the path to your save files?

Did you tried to run the game as an Administrator?
