Unable to recreate my Sheppard in Character Generation

I bought the game in 2007, and played the whole series.
He was quite unique: blond with a moustache that went into sideburns, he had a pockmarked skin, deep green eyes...

I wanted to play a new ME story, as it was aeons ago.
Upon entering CharGen... I came to see that it was missing a LOT of features, such as the pockmarked skin, a non-beard beard (like it is badly shaven), green eyes that miss the deepness, that intensity, ...

What happened to CharGen?
Where are all my options gone to?

Is there a fix (OH please tell me there IS one...)?

Afaik there was no change made to the Character Creator since the game was released.

If nothing changed... then why do I only have three skin sets?
And a bad shaven moustache/beard???
Not the nicely trimmed one I am used to?

I am sorry, but I think I can't help you here.

As said, AFAIK there was no change made to the Character Creator since the game was released.

There is also no save game editor for ME1, so it would take manual editing of the game files to get something in that is not in the CC.

@RataplanL Maybe you had mods installed at the time. I know there are quite a few that change shep's looks. Some even change facial hair for maleshep.
