Problems with Bring Down the Sky (Steam Version of Mass Effect 1)

Hello, I need help badly with this.

I recently started up Mass Effect 1 one again and tried installing Bring Down the Sky. It seems that recently there has been issues with quite a few people installing the DLC. Most of the time I try to install it it, it just says Download Failed and kicks me out. 

I discovered a trick on Reddit to get it to download (https://www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/liqgtz/bring_down_the_skypinnacle_station_wont_install/) but that's all it did. It says it's installed, but it's not. I check the Downladoble Content tab in the main menu, it's blank. I go to the system where the DLC takes place, and it's not there. the Asgard system doesn't exist in game. If someone can help me, please do so. This seems to be a widespread issue for a few days at the very least

That's where I downloaded it from.

Put the installer in the game folder and run it as Administrator. > Test.

If that don't works try to repair the game.

(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

If that also don't works, you might want to consider to redeem the Steam CD code in Origin.

Afaik the DLCs are part of the main game download in Origin by now.
