Mass Effect won't launch in or out of Origin

- Couldn't find that DLL - or maybe search has crashed as there are no results after two hours of 'searching'.

- There were no dump files when I checked, so I followed your instructions to create one

The error remains to be the same.

Either the uninstall of the Trusteer Software failed completely or significant  parts where left behind.
You will find the DLL in the path that you can see in the screenshot.
I also would check if Trusteer really got uninstalled, from the look at it, it is not.

Very many thanks again, Holger. Have gone back to uninstall Trusteer again and the folder has now gone and - surprise, surprise - ME now launches!!!

Not only that but so does ME 2 and Dragon Age Origns - both had also failed to launch multiple times.

Sincere thanks for your help, and tracking it down to the Trusteer software. Even though it's been installed on my system for a good few years, dating back to when I played both games, it must have had a recent update that caused the clash that prevented them from launching.

Thanks again! I'll now mark this as 'solved' and hope it will be of use to anyone else that has the same issue AND has Trusteer installed.
