Mass Effect Installation Error.

Bought the Mass Effect Trilogy and downloaded all 3 off of Origin. Got to install and I keep getting a VC++ Error on installation for all 3 games. My laptop has the latest VC++ package (2012?) But it seems as if all 3 games are trying to install an inferior version. Is there anyway to fix this for it will not install any of the 3 games.

Here is the what the error message says for all 3 installation errors.

"Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue. (-2147023436)"

Sorry, the original message was from before my time.  

The key is this part:

You need to find the file "vcredist_x86.exe" and try to install it yourself.  Assuming it's still in the above path (which shows up truncated, but is likely c:\program files (x86)\origin\Mass Effect\__Installer\vc\vc2005sp1\redist ) you can probably run it directly from there. Once you do that, you should try restarting the installation.  

It could be that this file is corrupted, in which case you could download it directly from Microsoft, probably from here:
