Hey guys, so... I have 107 hours of gameplay in Mass Effect 1, it ran smoothly through the first, second and a bit of the third gameplay...
One day i tried starting my game, and i realized that it was lagging (this never happened to me before)... i tried repairing the game, i tried uninstalling origin and reinstallling it again, i googled every solution and nothing has worked for me... I believe four or five months have passed and the game still gives me the same trouble (ME2 and ME3 run perfectly btw)...
So please, if you got an explanation for this or even a solution, i'd be glad to hear them...

It is not easy to come up with a suggestion if we don't know what you already tried. Could you elaborate on that a little?
Also, please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

Try to set the "MassEffect.exe" to "Windows XP service pack 2" compatibility mode.

Go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect\Binaries" folder.
Right click on the "MassEffect.exe" > Properties > Compatibility > check "Run this program in compatibility mode for..."
From the drop down menu choose "Windows XP (Service pack 2) > OK

If you set anything to minimal in the game settings, is the performance getting better?
Did you tried to reinstall the game as well?
