Mass Effect 1 Mouse doesn't work

In the main menu and the game menu I can move the mosue cursor around. but I cannot click on anything. In game I can zoom in to aim and shoot with LMB and RMB but I cannot move the camera around. I've tried to both update and roll back the driver for my mouse, but that didn't help.

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem, it worked perfectly for a bit, but now i can't click on anything in the menu, i can't move the camera, but in game i can shoot the Mako's weapons..

@Brepsel I already have in game overlay off, always have. I only recently started seeing the problem, with both ME1 and ME2 (haven't tried ME3 yet). Not sure if it is a driver or a Windows update that broke me. (ryzen 7, radeon vega frontier edition)

What I noticed is as if only some of the mouse move events are being handled. I happens anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes into game time.
