ME1 not running correctly from disk

Hi,

I've just recently re-installed ME1 on to my PC from the disk. However when I try to run the game a menu pops up giving me options such as play, documentation, support, configuration, etc. When I press play, nothing happens. I've tried running the game in administrator as well as running the game in different versions of windows. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Any fixes?

Never mind, I've found out that windows 10 wont run from the disk at all and needs to be downloaded.
