Good news everyone! There is no code needed anymore to install the DLC. Here is how you do it:
I'm testing it on my own computer right now and it works perfectly fine. mileylol:

Hi there and thanks to anyone reading for taking the time to do so. Recently I bought the Mass Effect Trilogy via Origin download and I wanted to get all of the DLC associated with the original Mass Effect. Pinnacle station was easy to get via Origin download, but when I attempted to run the Bring Down the Sky downloader from the EA page it will start to load then I will get an error message "Mass Effect is not found." I've reinstalled the game three times now and I don't think it is a problem with the game. I've even started it up and made a save to make sure that the game was working properly. I read somewhere that I needed to install the 1.02 patch and I also have read that It will automatically update Mass Effect if you downloaded it via Origin. Anyway I've tried patching and I get the same "Mass Effect is not found" error message. I've been looking all over to an answer to my question and all I see is that most people have trouble with the installer canceling or that their game code is not working.
This is the page I have been going off of

I've gone into the Mass Effect Config I see that I'm running v1.02 and I see a product key for Mass Effect, Bring Down the Sky, and Pinnacle Station. Does this mean that I have BDtS already installed somehow?
FIXED, somehow?
I accessed the DLC area in game and apparently it is installed. I guess it downloaded with the game itself via origin.

Okay, so I downloaded "Bring down the sky" from the link above. But when I try to install it, the installation starts to run, then it suddenly stops and I get this message:
https://imageshack.us/scaled/large/266/installationfailed.png
Installation failed.
The same happens with "Pinnacle Station", which I purchased and downloaded from Origin. When I try to install it with Origin, I get the same message: "Installation failed".
I tried to write to EA support, but the answer I got wasn't helpful at all. They said I should download and install from Origin. Which is what I already did from the beginning with "Pinnacle Station". And "Bring down the Sky" doesn't exist on Origin. Nonetheless, I opened my Origin application, and used the "Add Game..." function to add the "Bring down the sky" installer I download from the link above, to Origin. "Bring down the sky" appears in my games list, now:

But when I try to run it.... Nothing happens. Nothing, no message, no error, nothing. It just doesn't run.
Could anyone help me, please? ^^'

@phoenixviolet can you open a new thread about that with new links to your screenshots? The ones posted here are not working for me.

Oh! The problem is solved, so I'm not sure if I should open a new thread. After a long time, I found this thread: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/131/index/1942301/1 And I used the application linked in there: http://www.filedropper.com/fixbdts
I ran this application. After some time, it asked for a key code, which I obviously don't have, since Bring down the Sky doesn't need one anymore. So the application stopped, but I nonetheless tryed to run Bring down the Sky again, and this time it worked. So whatever this application does to repair the error, it does it before asking for the key. And I already read somewhere that sometimes problems with Pinnacle Station installation, are solved if we install Bring down the Sky first, and in my case it indeed worked.
And the screenshots are those:

I only post this, to help anybody who would have the same problem as me.
Thanks anyway! ^^

Ok, so I just banged my head against the wall for who knows how long on this and finally got it installed. The only addition I would suggest is that Origin MUST BE RUNNING for this install to work. If it is not, it will just tell you that the installation failed.

If Origin must be running for the new installer to work, does that mean that it will not work with the steam version of the game?

THANK YOU!
I had to change my notebook and looking for the question, I returned to find the file that I need. Thank you again

I can't answer for Steam. Does it give you a similar error?
