Game crashes when loading/resuming a saved game

This is a brand new disc straight out of the trilogy package that has been in my PS3 for a few days. It has no scratches and everything worked perfectly until this morning. When I hit resume it goes to the blue screen that looks like your squad selection screen but it has a black blob in the middle of it.
