Game crashes when I go to Sparta

I've had the same problem, and have been discussing it as part of case #18423806.  The support guy suggested I should clean boot and reinstall the game.

Yeah, I won't be doing that thanks.  You go fix the problem.  Anyway, he suggested I come back in three hours from now (that'd be about 7.30pm Australian Eastern Time) and ask to speak to a specialist.  In the meantime, he's going to flag it as a "possible" game issue.

I'm guessing it's their training to get us to go play with our own setups.  Seems a bit stupid though.

Their 'specialist' told me it must be a problem with my graphics card and that i should take my computer to a professional to have it looked at. I took it to the IT department at my university and they said my computer was perfectly fine.

Funny, some of us had tried reinstalling our games and it didn't work. Hopefully David sees these updates and is more receptive than the rest of EA support.

Don't know if its legal, but could anyone with the steam version upload the missing files. Since it's already working for you, and we "have" the game also, legally. It would be a great gesture if you could upload them to somewhere for us to download.

I have no idea why EA/David isn't picking this up after all this time. Let's fix this problem by ourselves

I am not as savvy as most here it seems. I can't find that folder at all. It might be worth it just to not play any of this series and count the money spent as lost. I'm gonna sleep on it.

I have notified the community managers. We now have to be patient and wait for a fix.

I have been watching this thread intently but I don't have a fix confirmation yet, unfortunately sometimes it takes a while for fixes to go through.
