Turning off the floating sand

Sometimes the floating sand around the map gives me fps issues. Is there a way to disable it and other nature particles that don't impact gameplay?

If that causes you FPS issues then you must be playing on the bleeding edge of 'playable, hitting 25-30 FPS or something?

I strongly suggest you watch LowSpecGamer for his tips on improving FPS (just be careful not to do anything that may break the T&C's though.
