Previous Season maps??

So there's plenty of calls on this forum to bring back Worlds Edge, which I concur.

but the real question should be what happened to all the previous seasons maps?, there used to be a steady rotation of maps from previous seasons now there's only 2?.

I understand that recent events Fuse, Caustic and heat flares have all had events but now they're over why not bring back the rotation?.
