Season battle needs faster play

Why can’t we simulate season battle after a point? It would make it easier to tolerate. Once you’re a higher rated team it gets boring beating everyone by 50 and having to play through the entire game. How can we please improve this to speed up the process or let defense play automatically? 

Needs to be be a faster process. Otherwise it’s slow and boring when you’re crushing every team.
