My running back keeps tripping himself

Ive attached a couple of screenshots showing my problem. I hope they show up in order.

This is showing the captains blitz event where you have to run the gauntlet.Every time I make my first cut my RB trips himself without being contacted by the opposing player.

I have the 89 signature Sproles with a 90 spd 91 acc and 91 agi

I paid a nice chunk of coin for this player to avoid just this kind of problem but it still keeps happening. This happened 3 straight times in 2 straight attempts.

This should not be happening
