Legend step 2 cost 8k badges

[see screenshot below, then judge the wording of the post] My step 2 Chris Carter Legends upgrade costs 8000 badges but I’m pretty sure it should only cost 2000. Furthermore, it looks like I still need a step 1 upgrade for 1250 badges in order to pay my 8000 badges for step 2, even though I already own it. Finally, the last step is step 2, not 4. (See the screen shot and the above might make more sense.)

Those were from the very first series of Legends players and that was how those players were set up. They changed the cost and steps of each player after Howie Long I believe.

Him and Bruce were the first ones. It's always been like that. That's what it's supposed to be. You can get the 89 ovr version (of Chris Carter) without having to get the 84 ovr version. It's already unlocked.

It wasn’t like that when I upgraded to 84 yesterday. There were 4 steps that cost 1k, 2k, 3k, and 4K until I upgraded to 84. When I hit the buy button, it removed steps 3-4 and asked 8k for the 89. Now it doesn’t even give me the option of upgrading to the diamond (90/91).

89 ovr is the highest Chris Carter goes. There is no 90/91 version of that card.

If that did happen, it was not supposed to. That definitely was just a glitch in the matrix. For Chris Carter and Bruce Smith there are only 2 steps. 84 ovr and 89 ovr. It's been like that since the season started August 15th.
