Is there any reason to play?

Is there any benifit that anyone knows of to keep playing the blitz tournament after completing the tier 7 milestone?

I have 3 attempts and nothing to do with them. You keep earning points  but do they matter?

Once you hit milestone 7 for the week, you can leave that section lie fallow until the reset. Once Monday rolls around it should reset and you can start from scratch again.
