UPDATE TEAM robbed me of 116 OVR Nate Solder

On April 22 I had all the players in place, including a 112 OVR Nate Solder, to upgrade to the 116 OVR version of Solder. I went through the process, got the 116 version and then made the mistake of clicking the UPDATE TEAM link. Solder disappeared, and all it took to get him are gone in a second. EA has no answers. It offered two pro packs for my misery. I declined. You are warned.

unfortunately this is how ea works. sorry they screwed you. ea won't do anything to fix it or make it right for you unless several people complain of the same issue.
