TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

★★ Novice
Earlier i recieved an email from a specialist with EA madden mobile regarding my issue with the 24/7 sets. This so called specialist stated that the sets are only available as a daily objective and rewards can only be collected that way. This is truely a lie seeing as in how I complete these sets from my item option menu and receive 250 tokens. I tried asking for more help since he didn't know what he was talking about and was referred back to here. I then got a call from EA saying I should email back the specialist because he is an "expert" with the game. I spend A LOT of money on MC and get treated like a bum. I'm tired of this company giving me and every other player a run around

@Colbys607 adding the 6 cards via the item options menu is technically a loophole that I don't believe was supposed to be available as a means of completing these sets.  I've read multiple forums regarding this and it's not something that is supported as it has resulted in multiple issues.

I don't believe the specialist was wrong in the response he gave to you. The "supported" way of completing the 24/7 sets is to either complete the 24/7 team in the daily objectives, or to complete the 2/47 live events that are available throughout the day.

However, if you choose to use the item options menu, which I believe to be unsupported (this just means that I understand why EA wouldn't promote or support this method, given there are some many issues and restrictions). Here are the restrictions as I understand them:

  • you can complete each 24/7 team through the "my items" section once per 3 day counter.
  • after you have completed a 24/7 team set for the day, that same team will show up again as being able to add the 6 cards (1 silver and 5 bronze). However, if you choose to redeem them, the set will disappear from your view and you will not be able access that 24/7 team set until it becomes available in a daily objectives (which could take some time)
  • the 3 day counter is a active counter from when you complete a set. This means it takes 72 hours from the time you complete the set (it does not start over at midnight)
  • if you complete a 24/7 team set as part of the daily objective, you cannot also complete them via the my items section.

Also, just for reference, just because a support representative or specialist doesn't know every single aspect of a game, doesn't make them terrible.  It's impossible to expect a specialist to know every single aspect of the 100's of games they have to provide support for.  I expect them to know the basics of the game along with some of the promotional items...  and sometimes I get a specialist that plays the game and in some cases has provided some tips that I didn't know about.

All i'm saying is before you attack some of these guys that are clearly doing their job, keep in mind that like you and everyone else, they often have to support multiple things. These guys aren't the developers and didn't create the game.  They didn't force you to spend money on the game, you did that.  If you're not happy that your spending money, then stop buying things.  It's a really simple solution to a very common problem.

I see an insanely large amount of complaints, which is understandable because most people only post on here to complain.  I hardly ever see anyone post about a positive experience they had, which is somewhat expected, but sad at the same time.

explain how they expect you to complete 32 teams 50 times each if the only way to complete them legitimately is through daily objectives? well they keep this season going in order for people to complete this? it's impossible to get progress forward in this game if this is a true statement. and I'm not attacking anybody. I've had multiple issues and I've spoke with multiple specialists and tier 1 and 2 service reps but NEVER get ACTUAL help from anyone except for 1 time in the 3 years I've been a customer. I understand some1 may not know every aspect of the game but a minimum knowledge is expected, when I'm contacted by someone that calls them self an expert, at the very least. Im glad to hear youve recieved more help than I have. and by the way, it's only a 24 hour cooldown on those sets. I normally do all 32 teams atleast once a day through the items option menu.

I've tried the 24 hour cool down and it doesn't work for me.

As hard as it may be to believe, I didn't create the game either.  So i'm not saying it's easy to complete the 24/7 set 50 times.  There are obviously other ways then just the daily objective.  They have the New Era events as well as others that go towards the 24/7 sets.  Sounds like you're well on your way to completing these sets if 24 hours is working for you though.

Trust me, I get your frustration and I share a lot of it.  However, slamming specialists in the manner you have chosen, it's productive and essentially solves absolutely nothing.

What problem are you having with the 24/7 set and let's see if we can figure it out as a forum so that anyone else having these types of problems can use the information to improve their playing as well?

the problem is that if they are supposed to be completed 50 times why isn't there a way to do it more than there is. if you include the live events they post and the 24/7 sets, there's no possible way to complete all of the teams in one season. it gives false hope that it can be done. my bashing of these specialists does help though. because even bad feedback is good. EA should understand, coming from a business aspect, that their employees helping with certain games should know a little more about the certain game they are trying to assist customers with. If their employees do not know the game they can't truely assist and EA needs to know that. so while you see this as "productive and essentially solves nothing" I see it as feedback on employees who should get trained better before trying to help.

Makes sense now. Your issue isn’t so much a problem in the game itself, it’s more that you want to cry out loud so that someone hears you. Totally understandable!

It’s easy to point out flaws and where people fall short. It’s easy to complain when things aren’t going your way. It’s also easy to ask for a solution to get goals completed quicker. What’s not easy, is actually being part of the solution and helping others around you. It’s not easy to lead by example. It all depends on which person you are 😉

Sometimes things are difficult. In this scenario it sounds like you’ve been able to get creative on moving towards this goal. Congrats on that and keep up the good work.

Not crying out for anything but some actual help from EA. your sarcastic, "kill em with kindness," comments aren't helping. My issue has been stated but you chose to attack the part about my complaint towards EA instead off addressing my issue. so thanks for the same amount of help EA has given. with customers and supportatives like you they'll, no doubt, get away with doing anybody and everybody wrong.
