Resource Download Error

I have Madden Mobile 15 installed on my iPad Mini. I've been playing the game for a while now and it's perfect. I've bought several packs and players using coins won in-game. Today, the app refuses to open. It shows me a "Resource Download Error" and asks me to log in with an Internet Connection even though I do have an Internet connection.

I have the app synced to my Facebook account. I've contemplated deleting and reinstalling but I'm worried if my progress / players will remain.

Could I get some help on this please?
