I pass multiple pressures during an overdrive match but do not receive the allotted points after.

Because that's the way it is. Always has been. I pass my pressure to prevent my opponent from getting the points from the pressure. If I fail he gets the points. If I pass he doesn't. And vice versa

You don't get points from passing a pressure. You prevent your opponent from getting points. You receive points when your opponent fails a pressure.
