Madden Mobile Lost Elite Jones card when he did not sell

I completed a live event challenge last night and received an 88 overall elite jones. I put him up on the live auction and he did not sell. I went to my messages collected the card and wanted to put him up again so I can have enough coins to buy a really good QB and open packs. The problem was that he was not in my collection or in the sell item list. The card completely disappeared. Does anyone know what could of happened?
