I have an iPhone, but my main account is through my google....idk how to log into my account bc it doesn’t have a “sign in through google” option...help??

I keep trying to log in with Apple ID since I used Game Center before.  I'm on iPad.  It keeps bringing up an Apple ID screen but the button disappears immediately and there's no option except cancel.  Was trying to keep from having to do FaceBook login since some people had issues with that last season.  Any ideas?  (I've already restarted the iPad 3 times, deleted the app and reinstalled, checked my settings for Game Center and Apple ID just to get past those recommendations)

Since September 3rd I have been unable to login into MM21 with my Apple ID I’ve contacted EA support and it has not worked.
