Extend UF sets fix upgrade issues?

The sets to complete the remaining UF masters disappeared early, so everyone who grinded fornLott will not be able to get him.  

There were also numberous posts about people not being able to upgrade their masters.  

This is all beyond frustrating - it would be great if EA could extend the event and fix the issues so people can get the players they worked for.
