Were you able to login to the game in the last 24 hours? I recommend restarting your device before launching the app again or consider reinstalling it if you're still getting a login error.
If you synced up to your account to Facebook/Apple/Google your progress will be preserved when you re-install. If you play on guest mode that progress is lost upon reinstalling.
So I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Logged out of Game Center, logged back. On and off wifi. Reset my WiFi at home.

Did you ever sync up your account to Facebook? Try logging into the Facebook app and remove Madden Mobile under Settings>Apps. Then, log out of Facebook and then load up Madden Mobile. Try to sign into Madden Mobile with Facebook.
