79 ovr field of fear players not good for anything?

I just finished the gauntlet.

At the beginning of each stage, you get a 79 ovr fof player out of a treasure chest.

I just tried to use them in fof sets.

I cant.

Uhhh....that doesnt make any sense.

Also...the masters gauntlet disappeared upon completion.

I tnought it stuck around and i could play it again and still earn the same rewards minus the 88 ovr player.

...apparently not....

I got that 88 maurkice pouncey, though
