Madden 23 Not Connecting to EA Server

Summarize your bug The Madden 23 game is not connecting to the EA server; there is conflict between the Playstation Network connection to the EA sports servers. I am connected to both EA and PSN; I checked both accounts physically, but the two accounts are not connecting to each other and then connecting to the game it Self. Each time I turn the game on there is an error code that states I must first login to proceed. If the error is not with EA servers, and it's not with PSN servers then the game itself must have some sort of internal problem that is not allowing it to connect to the EA and PSN servers.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After turning the Madden 23 game on upon loading is prompts to sign in to EA and PSN for internet access. After trying to attempt both, you will see that the access to the servers is either being blocked; like a massive firewall, the servers themselves may have a massive bug that doesn't allow connection to the game, the game is incomplete an needs a major update which can only be done by the EA team, or someone may have hacked the Madden Servers; which could have problems down the road in regards to the franchise of the game. Especially due to the glitches that have been reported over the years in regards to the game along with the fact that the game hasn't gone out of its comfort zone to add much to itself over the years.
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to connect to PSN and EA servers.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to connect to the PSN and EA servers. As it stands now I have 1/4 of a video game that I pre-paid a substantial amount for. All I'm able to do is maneuver pre-set rosters; without being able to download the current active rosters, practice, play now, playbooks, an fiddle with the options settings.

I’m having the same problem. I can’t connect to the ea servers. I can’t play any online mode. I’ve tried madden 22 and I can connect to those servers no problem. I’ve tried dm’ing ea on Twitter too and no response anywhere

I just downloaded and installed the game. I can sign into servers on UFC 4 and access all online modes but I cannot sign in on Madden 23. I just want to play face of the franchise mode.

Dude mine is the same on ps4! It’s BS you pay 100$ to preorder a game you can’t even play MUT on! I’m very upset about this and have called EA and they say they are trying to fix it but have no answers to help…

Same problem but on Xbox. Last time it happened I had to reset my whole system, then re-download the game and it worked for a few days. Not cool EA - Figure this out.

Hi @theSC0211 Can you try the following and check if this continues?

• Verify you signed into your PSN account
• Check for updates 
• Restore Licence
• Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
• Open your PS5 NAT Type
• Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)

Hi @ed4c395b7e87939f For Xbox, can you try the following and let me know if you continue getting this issue?

• Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
• Check for updates 
• Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
• Open you're Xbox NAT Type
• Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
• Remove then Readd Gamer Tag to console
