I'm having same issue on PS5 for the last week. Have tried a bunch of possible solutions, including power cycling PS5 and modem, uninstall/reinstall, unlink and relink PSN and EA accounts, change DNS settings, changing passwords on EA and PSN accounts, rebuilding PS5 database in safe mode, refreshing licenses, and more. Have talked to EA support 3 times and they don't have any better ideas. All my other online functionality works fine, even for Madden 21; only Madden 23 isn't working. Just keep getting the "In order to access the online features for this title your account on playstation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA servers." Hope someone can find a solution.

For the past week or so, I cannot access any online feature on Madden 23 on PS5. Was working fine before that. Just keep getting the "In order to access the online features for this title your account on playstation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA servers." message. I have had the same issue for around 4 days now but for Xbox Series S - so frustrating! And I reached out to support 3x with different cases with no luck - please advise!

I can not get connected to EA servers in madden 23 on PS5. MY PS5 is connected to the internet and I have played online before, but now I can not even connect to servers.

Hey everyone,
I see that you are encountering difficulties connecting online in Madden NFL 23. I'd be happy to look into this for you and figure out what might be causing the issue. Could you please provide the following details to assist with our investigation?
-Description of the issue:
-Game mode affected:
-Platform account (PSN ID, Xbox ID, etc.):
-Timestamp for when the issue occurred:
-Specific platform (PC, PS5, Xbox series X, etc.):
-Country:
-Exact text or screenshots of error message (if any):

-Description of the issue: Cannot connect to EA servers for any online features in Madden 23. No network changes on my end and online features for other games (including Madden 21 on same account) have no issues.
-Game mode affected: All online features (e.g., online franchise, ultimate team, etc.)
-Platform account (PSN ID, Xbox ID, etc.): PSN ID AskForTheWolf, EA ID jrdachshund
-Timestamp for when the issue occurred: Issue started on Wed 6/26 and has continued ever since (Madden 23 was working fine for me up until then; online features for other games, including Madden 21 on the same account, continue to work fine)
-Specific platform (PC, PS5, Xbox series X, etc.): PS5
-Country: USA
-Exact text or screenshots of error message (if any): "In order to access the online features for this title your account on Playstation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA servers." appears every time I start the game, try to access an online feature, or press R2 from the main menu to connect to EA servers. It is sometimes followed by a second message "Unknown login error."

I am experiencing exactly the same thing as jrdachshund, except that of course I have a different PSN ID and EA ID.
I will add that I also get this error when trying to go into Face of the Franchise, which I would think could be played offline. And I get a progression warning if I play a game via Play Now.

Keeps telling me I need connect to xbox network. I am online, I have unlinked and relinked the account, rebooted, un-installed and reinstalled the game. Any ideas?
New name, new look, same great benefits: EA Access and Origin Access are now EA Play.
