Can’t access online for madden 23 on PS5 but can access it on madden 24 for ps5 for some reason. This is so frustrating. My buddy can login on his account on my system and get onto it no problem but I can’t access anything.

Possible workaround – I saw another thread where someone having a similar issue was told by EA support to try turning off account verification on their EA account as a workaround. I tried it, and it seems to have solved the problem for now. Give it a shot if you’re still having issues connecting to the EA servers.

Confirmed! I tried this workaround last night and was able to successfully login this morning. Here's hoping they will come up with a permanent fix. I'm good for now, but not too keen on keeping my settings this way.

EA Support could not help me fix my issue with Madden 23. I can't connect to the EA Servers. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection or PSN ID. The accounts are linked, but I still cannot connect. This has been going on for over a week.
The Rep was willing to help me delete my profile, but when I asked for the instructions on how it's done, he sent me this:
"You won’t be able to use any platform accounts that you’ve connected to your EA Account, on another account. If this is why you’re requesting a deletion, let us know so we can help you another way."
Is there another way to help me? If so, I would appreciate it.

NO EMAILS FROM EA WERE RECEIVED
NO ISSUES WITH ANY OTHER GAMES
I FOLLOWED THE STEPS AND DISABLED LOGIN VERIFICATION - GAME WORKED FINE. I THEN ENABLED LOGIN VERIFICATION AND RESTARTED MY GAME - SAME ERROR MESSAGE AS BEFORE "In order to access the online features for this title your account on PSN must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA servers" (I am signed into PSN). Seems like the only way to play is to disable login verification.

I did not receive any emails from EA about login verification issues. I found the suggestion to try turning off account verification in a post on this board under the topic "Unable to Connect to EA Servers - XBOX X" by user caleballen58. Original post was on Fri 7/5/24, and he posted on Sat 7/6/24 that someone from EA support told him they are working on an issue with some accounts not validating correctly with new verification protocol and to try turning off account verification as a workaround.
I have not noticed the issue in any other EA games. Madden 21 was still working fine for me with account verification turned on after I started having issues with Madden 23.
I disabled account verification and was able to log into Madden 23 with it turned off. I have not tried reactivating account verification and logging into Madden 23 yet. I will try when I have a chance.
