Xbox One Madden 19 Creating new profile issues

I had 5 profiles that I bounced between so that I could play Madden 19 MUT with different players etc.  I now know that 5 team profiles is the max when I tried to add another.

I deleted several profiles from my Xbox One and also contacted EA/ Origin and had them delete 3 of my profiles so that I would be down to 3 active profiles giving me room to create 2 more new profiles but the Xbox is still telling me "5 profiles is the maximum you can have on thios Xbox"    I only have 3    what am I doing wrong or is there something else I need to do to ensure the Xbox and EA have the correct number of active profiles for me?

There is a max amount of profiles that can access Madden Ultimate Team on a console. This is a featured intended by design from the development team. Was it a used Xbox or did some friends play on it previously that may have logged in to create a team?
