I figured it out guys! you need to shut down any applications you have open including the madden 18 and then hit your ps button check under notifications and see if your madden 18 is downloading or in progress. i noticed that when i had anything open including madden which i had open it caused it to download slowly after i stopped everything it downloaded in a hr.

I have not received my code to unlock the GOAT Content for Madden 18 GOAT Edition. I made my purchase through Madden 17 so I could take advantage of the 10% discount.
