In order to get ranked, you have to play Ranked games. The more often you play, the better your chances of gaining rank. Each game you play earns you "Ranking Points." If you beat your opponent, you earn more ranking points. If you lose or concede, you earn a lot less. If you quit a game, you lose points and also get the loss. Obviously, it helps to win to earn points.
Technically, everyone is 'ranked' but there will only be a number next to your name once you break into the top 100,000.
Hope this helps.

He has obviously already stated that he hasn't EVER PLAYED A RANKED GAME! I have the SAME problem. My ranked record is and stays at 0-0 no matter how many games i play. It just sucks cause i want to know how I'm doing when i wanna for real play!

I'm having a similar issue when trying to check my opponent's or friend's records... it appears as 0-0 on Madden NFL 19. Not sure why.
Hopefully they get it fixed soon.
