How do I unlink an origin account from an xbox live account?

How am I supposed to play any EA game online if it is impossible to unlink an origin account from my xbox live account?

Unable to recover my EA account, when support insists that recovering is my only option. I have contacted support 4 or 5 times now and have no resolution over 1.5 years. I submitted a recovery request 5 months ago and never heard back....

Hi, @brandjef000 

If you need help syncing up your Gamertag to an EA account all you have to do is log into an EA game and it should prompt you for account creation.

Doesn't prompt you for account creation?

That means your Gamertag is already linked up to an account. How do I know what email is linked to?

Here is how to find out what email address is linked up to the EA account that has your Gamertag synced.

1. Find it by going into one of our games. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/find-your-ea-account-email-address-using-your-game/
2. Visit Help.EA.com and sign in using the Microsoft login button. Then, click on Accounts at the top and Change Email Address. It should display there.
